Yes, today marks a truly unique event - Hanukkah and Thanksgiving are falling together for the first time in centuries (and maybe won't align again for tens of thousands of years). Blame it on the moon, blame it on John Winthrop, blame it on who- or whatever - just remember to light that menorah over the holiday bird! No posting today (something for everyone to be thankful for!) but we will return later this weekend, once we've awoken from our post-turkey nap, with more pointed commentary on the fall season. Till then - happy Thanksgivukkah!
