Of Paramount importance

I just got my first press release - from Celebrity Series, for Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester - regarding March performances at the newly-renovated Paramount Theatre (above). The art deco movie palace has been reconfigured by Emerson College into a suite of stages, rehearsal spaces and offices. Its centerpiece will be a 500-seat theatre - which fits neatly into one of the remaining gaps in the Boston performance-space matrix. Congratulations and thanks should go to Emerson, and to everyone in Boston who helped bring this wonderful theatre back to life!

  1. Hello, Thomas,
Thanks for noticing the Paramount's reemergence. We're proud to be the first organization in the door (besides the mayor and Emerson College, of course). In addition to the items you list, there are even more features in the Paramount complex that audiences can get excited about, including a black box theatre and a film screening room. It's really quite impressive.

  2. Glad to hear it, Jack! I'm looking forward to seeing some great performances there!
